To say she is a rising star would be quite an understatement…after less than fifteen years in the industry, designer Sushma Patel has already grown such a loyal following that her breathtaking clothes have brought new radiance to everything from acclaimed couture runways to adored television shows and all that lies in between. 

Having sent her first collection down the runway in 1998 shortly after graduating from the esteemed Fashion Institute of Technology, Patel was an immediate success and has never looked back.  Each season Sushma is consistently requested to present her new collection at renowned Fashion Week shows in over ten countries and is one of just a handful of designers that continually receives the privilege of adorning stars for red carpet events like the highly celebrated Bollywood Fashion and Music Awards.

In addition to sending her stunning pieces down catwalks in diverse destinations like Paris, Romania, Malta, Barbados, Dubai, Egypt and her native India; Patel was recently honored with the request to open Couture Fashion Week at the prestigious Waldorf-Astoria in one of the biggest fashion capitals in the world, the one and only New York City.
